I have discovered that I identify as Aegosexual. I knew I was some sort of asexual since 2020, but I’ve noticed that I read smut quite a bit. I ONLY read smut, I don’t even watch p*rn, I only enjoy smut fanfics. But I can’t even fathom being in a sensual relationship with someone I personally know, like a friend. It makes me sick even thinking doing acts like that with a friend, but I enjoy reading smut. Also when I read smut, I imagine that it’s one of my oc’s instead of me in the acts. So I feel very proud that I’m Aegosexual!

Where you're asexual in real life, but you're seggsually attracted to celebrities?

So like its not fictosexual because its not characters from books and movies, they're real people its just im only seggsually attracted to celebrities

I'm bi, but I don't want to have a sexual relationship with anyone, it seems uncomfortable and I'm not interested, or better, I hate it and feel me guilty and disgusted just thinking about it, at most I would do to please my (girl/boy)friend.

My sexual attraction is complicated, I still have this attraction, but sometimes I feel disgusted by it, but it is in a short period of time, maybe it's something normal. I prefer demonstrate it with sensual relationships (not sexual).

I'm still in doubt if I'm Demi, orchidsexual or pseudo sexual, because these are the labels that come closest to what I feel (I feel me better with the pseudo sexual label).

I hope I'm not faking this, because I've felt this discomfort for a long time, I feel me less asexual or invalid because I'm not totally repulsive about it.

For reference, I identify as bisexual & Demiromantic.

I know I’m in the asexual spectrum, because I don’t exactly know what intimate attraction feels like. The thing is, however, I still feel like I feel attraction towards certain people. What I mean is that I find them attractive, but if I had the chance, I wouldn’t date them unless I knew them very well (the Demiromantic talking).

The problem is that I generally don’t find the people I see in public/everyday attractive

Am I selective of who I like, allosexual, or is there a term that fits how I’m feeling?

Can someone please explain to me the difference between libido and sexual attraction? I tend to have a problem with mixing them up or not understanding what they mean.

I have a problem understanding what 'attraction' means. Does it just mean being drawn to someone to do [___]? So, like, sexual attraction is being drawn to someone to have sex. It has nothing to do with libido. Thus, an asexual and an allosexual can have a libido. Despite only 1 being drawn to have sex with someone.

If it does mean what I think it means, then I don't feel sexual attraction as much as an allosexual person. For fictional characters or celebrities, I feel sexual attraction for them immediately. But when it comes to real-world people, it takes me a while to get to feel sexual attraction for them (I wouldn't say it's demisexual, but it's hard to explain). And when I do feel sexual attraction, it hits hard. I lust after the person, but it goes away very quickly before going back to feeling very little attraction towards them. Would this be a libido or ace spike?

Hi everyone, I’m new here and am desperately trying to figure out if I lie somewhere on the ace spectrum.

I’m 34 and married with a kid. I consider myself queer, as in I’m kinda sorta non-binary and bisexual or pansexual.

Here is my issue: I have never been with a partner who has satisfied me sexually. I have a very high sex drive and have a great sex life with myself, but I almost immediately shut down physically when being touched sexually by another person. My husband is frustrated because I’m not offering any insight into how he can please me, but I honestly don’t know why I feel the way I do. I have absolute 0 body confidence, and the idea of him looking at me and touching me sexually makes my skin crawl.

We have a ton of marital issues…that we’re currently working on, but he gets so frustrated and upset that I won’t just lay back and let him touch me and tell him what feels good. It’s so hard to explain that I do have a sex drive, and get off fine on my own, but him having sex with me or trying other sexual things immediately turns me to ice. I’m beginning to wonder if I’m some kind of asexual or if I’m just broken.
